ProtoBag Studio is a European bag studio with an office in Munich. We work with independent designers, indie founders, and growing brands across European design hubs (Berlin, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Paris, Milan, Munich) and beyond. The European studio handles the conversation, project coordination, and quality oversight. Manufacturing happens at our China-side facility.
The structure gives growing brands two clear advantages. They get EU-time-zone communication. They also get Asian production economics. Both come in one package.
Our team carries over twenty years of bag-making heritage. The facility has 300+ skilled workers and 330+ machines on the production floor. Capacity is more than 100,000 custom bags per month. Equipment, capacity, and quality control are all kept on the same site.
Recent client achievements include 15M+ units shipped for one North American partner. We generated $12M revenue for one partner in 2025. Currently 10+ international brands are in active development with our team.
Four pillars define our support. We have a Munich plus Shanghai team covering two time zones with no broker chain. We give direct support in English, Chinese, and German. We provide expert material consulting from sampling onward. We keep designs strictly confidential.
